welcome to logging off club.
We all spend so much time on “social” media, but most of us feel lonelier than ever before. The constant noise of infinite feeds leave us feeling depleted and overwhelmed, as real connection gets replaced with digital interactions. From the rise of remote work and online dating, to the decline of community centers and third spaces, our digital lives have left us more isolated and craving community.
Logging Off Club aims to bring people together offline to reconnect, reflect and try new things. It’s a space to feel more present, connect with others and rekindle your curiosity. Whether you regularly take digital detoxes or you’re sick of spending all your spare time scrolling, Logging Off Club offers a space for us to embrace the offline.
Our story
Born out of a conversation with friends on our way to a girls trip in Cornwall for Adele’s 25th birthday, Logging Off Club started as a rant (like all good ideas women have). As we each compared the ways we try to reclaim our attention from mindless scrolling, whether using blocking apps, switching to a dumphone or deleting accounts altogether, we realised that despite being part of the ‘digital’ generation, we’re just exhausted as everyone else. So we decided to do something about it, and seek out other people who are feeling the same way, to build out space and time in our lives offline to centre deep and meaningful connection.

Where we’re walking
As the weather turns colder and the frosts set in, one of the most beautiful places to walk is Whitefield Moor, near Brockenhurst, New Forest. I don’t know the real reasoning behind its name but expect what it says on the tin…
You can then explore deeper into the trees which surround, and walk along the stream within. There are two routes to choose from, which are only about 1.6 miles. Walk a further mile and you will reach the village of Brockenhurst where you will find pubs, restaurants, cafes and other eateries.
Navigate to ///golf.chestnuts.saucepan for parking.
